Association Mission

Our association's mission is to promote tourism in Burnett County. Realistically, most of our energy is spent towards promoting members' lodging facilities; we function mostly as an advertising cooperative. Our members enjoy discounted and/or free advertising on our County Map, Vacation Guide, and this web site. Additionally, members are encouraged to make use of our free lodging calendar software, which shows potential guests when a business has vacancies. This software is most valuable when individual businesses keep it up-to-date.

Members Invited to Join

We invite all businesses that provide lodging in or near Burnett County to join our association. You can join anytime of the year, but most memberships are renewed during summer. Please contact Sharon Stoffel for more information. Also, you can view our membership application from this site.

The Board of Directors will meet sometime in mid or late July at a place yet to be determined.

Need for Volunteers

Our organization needs your help with a variety of tasks! We have a continuing need of distributing our maps and vacation guides to our members and sponsors throughout the county and adjacent areas. We strive to distribute these publications prior to major tourism events, such as holidays. We offer volunteers a small payment to help differ their travel costs.

Sharon, our Secretary and Treasurer, has a very busy job and could use help with her tasks. Call her if you're willing to assist with her duties.
